Eeekk! Sorry to have left y'all hanging without letting you know how things turned out with Camryn's tests! The second set of tests came back, and everything looked normal again, so they were at a loss as to why lil' Camryn only tinkles once or twice daily. They said the only other thing they could do is maybe schedule an ultrasound, to make sure everything looked ok with her kidneys and bladder, but Joe felt that was unneccessary and expensive, so we are back to square one Anybody else have children who don't urinate frequently? I'm completely at a loss! *sigh*

Well, let's see what else has gone on in the Hansard household....pretty much the same ol' same ol'. Last weekend was taken up with soccer On Saturday Camryn had 1 game and Leah had 2, and ditto that for Sunday(they were make-up games missed earlier due to weather). Because of how the games were scheduled, we pretty much spent the whole day at the fields, but at least the weather was super! I believe the temps were in the low-to-mid 80's, and I even managed to get some sun(a little TOO much on my face...you could see exactly where my sunglasses had been! LOL!)

This weekend has been the polar opposite! The girls just had one game each yesterday--and thank God, since it was 54 degrees, and the wind was gusting up to 25 miles per hour! It was awful....all those lil' ones freezing in their soccer uniforms, and the wind kept blowing dust/pollen/??? in their eyes(and mine!). Today won't be much different....games are at 1:30, 2:30 and 4:30, and now (at 10 am) it's only 45 degrees! Luckily we can come home to a hot, delicious dinner...I've got a pork roast going in the Crockpot, and boy is it smelling good in here!

I'm off to watch "Blade Trinity" ...I just loooooooove all the kung-foo butt-kicking and good VS evil stuff! LOL! So, until we meet again,

*sigh* I considered not even blogging, after all, no one wants to come here and read sickness and yucky stuff all the time, yet that's pretty much been what my household has dealt with the past month or more! ACK! Let me take you back in time to last Monday......I took a (almost) perfectly healthy Camryn to the doctor, because I was worried about the fact that she had only been urinating once every 24 hours. This had been going on for several days, and before that, she'd only make tinkle like twice a day, which still isn't enough, ya know? Anyhoo, while there she was exposed to a tummy bug :*( and by Wednesday, she was sick as a dog....more on that in a few. Back to the tee-tee trouble: the first thing they asked for was a urine sample-I was like, "DUH!!! Like you're gonna get one anytime soon!". After confirming that she gets plenty to drink, and asking lots of questions, they decided to get a blood sample, to make sure nothing was wrong with her kidneys or bladder. What an ordeal!!! A nurse couldn't find a vein, so called a second nurse in for back-up; after going back and forth from arm to arm, they finally found a tiiiiiiiiny vein, and stuck in the needle. They had me holding her down, bless her 4-year-old heart, and obviously they missed the vein, 'cause no blood was coming out! Five minutes later, after much screaming and tears, they got enough blood to send off to the lab. After keeping us there for over 2 and 1/2 hours(and making me 90 minutes late for work), we were told to go home, and return with a urine sample once Camryn could produce one.

Well, later that evening, Joe carried her tinkle back to the doctor (she'd peed Sunday @ 3pm, only time all day, and not again until the next day @ 5pm). That Tuesday, the results from the tee-tee were back, and everything looked fine, but the doctor wanted a second sample to send to the hospital's lab, so they could use a microscope(the first test they only dipped test strips of some kind into), so Wednesday, after a re-check appointment that morning(with of course, you guessed it, no pee-pee), we came back home to await tinkle. K, so here I am, ironing my work pants, about 30 minutes before I'm to be at work, and I hear Camryn throwing up in the den.....ALL OVER the new rug. ALOT...how can someone so little have so much in her tummy? We get that all cleaned up, and then she decides to pee. So, late for work again, I'm off to the hospital, Cam's sample cup discretly in a brown paper bag. I get there, expecting to be able to leave the sample with the paperwork the doctor gave me, and be on my merry way to work, but nooooooooooo, I found I had to REGISTER the sample, and was given one of those flashing, vibrating disc things like you get at some restaurants. As I turn to walk toward a seat, I notice the bag had leaked on the counter. I was BEYOND embarrassed....I wanted to slink off, never to return, but instead apologized profussly, and asked if they'd give me something so I could clean it up myself, which of course they wouldn't hear of. Skipping ahead to that evening, my parents picked Leah up for church, and decided perhaps she should spend the night with them so she wouldn't be around the puke-y bug. What a great idea, I thought! Until Thursday morning, that is, when Leah called me from their house at 8:30. ME: "Why aren't you in school?" LEAH: "I've been throwing up all morning....I wanna come home!!!" *sigh* Well, by now I'm sure you're thinking it can't get much worse, right? Wrong!

Joe, who had gone into work as usual at 4 am came home, complaining he could barely stand up, and felt like he was "fixing to puke". GREAT! Well, I went into work at my normal time, 12-6, but after getting many calls from home pleaing for me to come home, I told my boss I had to go, family comes first, and after all, Joe could hardly take care of himself, much less the girls, since he was sick too. Skipping ahead again, we didn't have to worry about the girls missing their soccer games on Saturday, the games were called due to weather anyway ;). Long story short, Cam is fine now, and Joe is still having ummmmm, 'lower-end nastiness', but Leah is who's in the worst shape: she'll seem over it for about a day, then she'll be vomitting all over again, and having that 'other end problem' I just referred to *yuck*, and it's still going on....she was throwing up all morning today, when I'd had to take both her and Camryn to work with me. My boss is on vacation, and had wanted me to work 9-6 instead of my usual 2-6, and with my parents gone to Gatlinburg, they weren't around to babysit for me. Luckily, a co-worker came in at 10, and allowed me to go home with the girls until Joe got off at 2, then I was able to return to work without the girls.

The one good thing *knock on wood* is that so far, I've managed to escape getting this nasty bug. Of course, the good Lord usually arranges it so that I don't get sick until everyone else is well, so I can be there to take care of them, so who knows, once Leah manages to get over this, I may get it yet! *crosses fingers and prays not!* I can't apologize enough for grossing y'all out(and boring ya to tears), but just wanted to explain where I've been this past week+

I pray you all are healthy and happy this week, and thanks for reading this far ;) Please keep Leah in your prayers, that she'll soon get over this yuckiness and can try to enjoy her Spring break(poor kid....she was supposed to go to Gatlinburg with my folks, but missed out on it due to her sickness). I'm off to watch a movie with the family, and maybe I can visit some blogs later on this week. Take care and keep on smiling! =)

~Hugs~
