*Yawn* Who'd have thought spending money could make you so tired? ROFLMBO!! Today was wonderfully lazy. I went a little crazy(ok, ALOT crazy) doing some online Christmas shopping for the girls--first at ABC Distributing, then at LTD Commodities. I stayed in my jammies until after lunch, and only changed then because when Joe got home from work, we all loaded up & went to check out our new Goody's....ah, I just LOVE Goody's! I still had garage sale money to burn ;) so I gave myself the green light to shop for clothes for myself~a rare treat, 'cause I usually would rather spend money on the girls. Of course, I got them stuff too, but I racked up on stuff for me! =))) All 3 of us girls had to get a Cushie® Pillow...Lord have mercy, if you haven't hugged one of these, run out & find one-bet you won't leave the store without one! The ones we got are solid colors, and just the basic tube shape, but while I sent the girls off with Joe to the other side of the store, I got some extra-cool silvery-multi-colored ones for them; a heart for Camryn(her FAV!!) and a star for Leah. I so much wanted to show pics of my goodies from Goody's *giggle*, but their website didn't show the garments I bought...maybe I'll take photos later. I got a nice, dressy pants suite in charcoal; a Sag Harbor® sweater, pale pink, with attached striped scarf; a funky bright-striped cable-knit sweater with matching scarf(with cute dangly balls on the end!); a classy red cardigan sweater with this furry looking collar....well, not furry, but if you've ever seen playdough after it comes out of one of those barbershop doll heads, that looks like chunky hair, you'll get what I mean! ;) And finally, a spruce green fleece top w/ cutsie snowmen. (Back-pedaling here, but speaking of garage sale money, I sold our old couch, love seat, lamps, and lots of Camryn's old clothes) We needed "fuel" after all that shopping, so at Leah's request, we ate at Captain D's(not exactly my first choice, since I HATE fish--and yet somehow that was my 1st job as a teen! ROFL!).
Then we headed to hunt for a Playstation2 game Joe's been wanting to rent(no luck) and returned a DVD to the store I work at(wound up renting a coupla' more movies while there).We watched one of those tonight: "You Got Served", which I didn't give a second glance to when I'd put it on the shelves, but it was a really good, fun, hip-hop film! Lots of high-energy dancing. Last night, the girls & I watched "Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban"....it was great! One of the great perks of the business is getting to bring movies home before they hit the shelves....we also brought home "Sleepover"(saw it in theaters already) and "The Terminal"(with Tom Hanks).Gosh, for someone so tired, I sure am running my mouth, huh? LOL!

**Aaaah, yes, I confess, once I fell off the bandwagon(when I bought that premade from Primsical Cuties), it opened the door to desire, and I've been buying again! Hubby has already laid down the law, when he discovered that between premades & websets, I spent over $100 in less than 2 weeks time, but before he 'cut me off' ;), I was able to get 7 amazingly cute adoptables, I hope to slip 2 more past him, if I'm fast & fortunate enough to catch updates from Mable and Caroline......I soooooooo want to have a graphic from each of them! *pouts* K, my brain is starting to malfunction from lack of sleep, so I bid you all good nite!

My butt is dragging the ground, so this'll be the short version of a looooong week! LOL! I can't even remember if Monday was crazy or not, but Tuesday was my long day to work, this time with no lunch break :-\ followed by a day off Wednesday, which was at LEAST as busy as a day at work!!! Leah's school released at noon, then we snagged Burger King and ate it in the van on the way back to school for Leah's parent/teacher conference at 1:00, then *zoom* off to the dentist at 2:00, for poor Leah to have a root canal! *ouch!* Later, we went to the outlet mall, to find me some new tennis shoes-my toe has been KILLING me, and figured I'd try new shoes before throwing in the towel & seeing the foot doctor ;) I got some real comfy Dr. Scholls *ahhhh* and then just had to run nearby to Old Navy to grab some divine polar fleece goodies: a charcoal scarf & matching gloves for me, and some of the same for the girls *shhh, it's for Christmas!* HERE you can see the scarf, gloves, and headband for Leah (all in pale pink), and HERE the precious snuggly hat for Camryn {well, it's similar...her's is pale pink, with only one tassel on the top, and no gloves}
Yesterday was just as busy: though I did manage about 2 1/2 hrs. to myself after getting both girls to school, it was rush rush rush again to try to get both picked up (from two different schools) by 12 noon, and I was supposed to be at work by 12 also! *sigh* The girls had to hang out with me at work for a few hours 'til Joe got off, then I came home in time to cook dinner & crash. This morning I helped at my parent's, where we were having a garage sale, until 10, when I had to leave for Camryn's parent/teacher conference! Then it was time to go to work, then came home & starting digging out more junk to sell tomorrow ;) God, do we really have so much stuff?!?!? All that sold of mine today was our old stove, but hey, it brought $85 bucks! =))) I hope Saturday someone buys our couch, love seat, lamps and such!
Ok, so maybe I'm not making it sound as hectic as it felt....I know this is all part of everyday parenthood, it's just until lately, with only 1 in school, there weren't so many things to do & places to be ya know?Sheesh, just wait 'til Camryn starts soccer this spring, then she & Leah both will have games & practises, and by next fall, Cam will be in Pre-K and going 5 days a week. Go ahead, say it in unison: "Welcome to the real world, Heather!" ROFLMAO!!
Wrapping things up on a serious note, dear sweet Marina lost her mother today...please keep her in your prayers, and send her encouragement & hugs, won't you? My problems seem so trivial when compared with what's happening in others' lives. Tell your family & friends how much you love them, and do it often, 'cause you never know what life has in store for the future. Hugs to you all!!!!!!

I'll be heading to work before long, but thought I'd show a few adorable sigtag gifts I've received recently, and catch up on a few memes ;)
Also, I've been on the fence about this, but I've finally decided to password protect my blog. I haven't had any problem visitors or anything (knock on wood), but I'd like to start displaying more pics of the girls, and would feel more comfortable if I knew who all would have access to that. I'm in the midst of redecorating the blog too with a new layout & graphics, so once everything is ready, I'll post here with an email link for any of you who might be interested in getting the username/password. I'd love to hear from those of you who have made the same decision, to see if it's working out for you or if you wish you had left it as is. TIA! =)

Monday Madness
1. Code your own website or use a template? A bit of both ;)
2. Use a digital camera or a film camera? If digital, do you print your own pictures, order them online, or send them out? Again, both, but mainly my digital; so far, I have neither printed, ordered or sent them out for developing.
3. Make your own cards or buy them at a card shop? ROFL! Both again...so wishy-washy, huh? ;)
4. Draw your own graphics or get them from the internet? I do doodle a bit, but for now, I only use graphics from other talented artists on my pages!
5. Take showers or baths? 95% of the time, showers, tho' an occassional bubble bath is in order =)
6. Make your own candles or buy them? And are they soy or paraffin? Buy them & ummm, dunno *LOL*
7. Celebrate Halloween or not? Yes, tho' I fall behind in the decorating department :-8. Sleep in on weekends or get up early even if you don't have to go to work? Sleep in (as much as the kids will let me anyway!)
9. Correct other people's grammar, or just let it go? Let it go, unless it's my children

*ICK!* I'd say the lesser of the two evils would be to see strangers having sex in the bathroom...not sure I'd EVER be comfortable again w/my doc if I saw him like that!
