Tomorrow is Leah's last soccer game(unless she makes the All Star team again), but *sigh* I'm gonna miss it, all because I don't know how to say no to my boss!
Weekends are usually off-limits as far as work goes, 'cause it's my only family time--for those of you who don't know, I'm heading out the door everytime Joe is coming in it. We deliberately work it that way so that the girls don't have to go to daycare, but it leaves little time for he & I to spend alone, or for us to be together as a whole family. And yes, it's only gonna be a 4 1/2 hr. shift, but I'll still miss the game, and by the time I get home, Joe will be ready to fall into bed after working 3rd shift and staying up all morning.
Ok, somebody tell me to suck it up, I'm sure it's that way for everyone else too, it just stinks,
Jeez, it must seem like every post I make I moan & complain, huh? Sowweeeeee, life's really not that bad, Lord knows it could be so much worse, but sometimes a girl just has to let off a lil' steamAhhh, now I feel better!
K, I'd looooove to be asleep now, especially since I open the store in the morning, but I need to stay awake to get Joe up for work, so guess I'll go hop in the shower, read a bit, & hope I can keep my droopy eyes open! Let me leave you all with (early) wishes for a spooky but safe Halloween!

Well, that's not the quiz I had imagined....it asked ??'s about fashion and style and personality....I figured it would ask like when's the last time you had a facial or are you still sporting the same hairstyle from highschool or do you dress to impress or dress for comfort, things like that--and that the make-over in question was more than just my clothes! Lemme tell ya, I've gone to "Extreme Makeover" and "Remodel My Family"'s websites many times, all prepared to fill out the form begging for a new me, but keep losing courage to do it! LOL! True, after 23 years of permed hair, I have changed it to straight, but my bangs have basically had the same tall "rooster-do" for as long as I can remember! Likewise, my make-up style has stayed the same...no foundation,concealer, or eyeshadow; just loose powder, rosey blush, black mascara, navy-blue eyeliner, and berry or rose lipstick. BORING!!!! Hardly ever paint my nails, my eyebrows need shaping, and ashamedly, I think my upperlip could use a waxing!Don't even get me started on my crooked nose(which looks as if it has been broken), sagging "girls"(blame it on breastfeeding & too much time around the house bra-less!).Hmmm, think I better stop before I embarrass myself anymore! LMAO! Yeah, my fashion sense needs some updating too, but overall it's ME that needs to be brought into the 21st century! ;)
K, can't believe I actually babbled that long about such nonsense! Think I'll grab a Coke, plop in front of the T.V., and drift off to sleep to dream about a new, improved Heather! Hope you all have a fantabulous Wednesday! =)))

I am blessed to have such a friend as Lisa....though the way I've been "keeping to myself" lately, I'm not sure I deserve to have any friends at all! *downcast eyes* I don't mean to have disappeared y'all, honest, theres' just a zillion other things to do, and somehow the computer & internet, which used to be near the top of my list, have slid to the bottom of my priorities! Hope the few of you still reading my blog know how much I appreciate your patience/devotion/friendship!! (((((((((HUGS)))))))
I was almost unable to blog at all after a big goof on my part....I recently installed two new spyware scanners, and one of them had me delete something called "Actbar2.ocx"....not knowing what it was, I did, and even emptied my Recycle Bin, only to discover I HAD to have that file in order to use w.bloggar, which is my preferred method for posting to my blog! Eeeek! I almost never found a solution, but finally, thanks to Google, I discovered Freeware by Alex Vallat where I was able to download & install the "Actbar2.ocx" again! *Whew!* Hopefully I didn't reinfect myself with spyware, I read that this file, though used by some malicious sites, it also used by many legit programs. Back to spyware, I couldn't BELIEVE how many today's scan found!!!!! OVER 700!!!!! Damn lil' boogers are as bad if not worse than viruses! Sheesh! If you don't have a spyware program, I can sugest a few free ones, just drop me an email ;)

Anyone who knows me by now knows that LATE is my middle name *sigh* so it should come as no suprise that today is no exception! Last Monday was my lil' Camryn's 4th b~day, and dear sweet Yvonne made her a giftie which I promised to upload right away...and am just now doing!Sorry Yvonne.....and huge thanks & hugs to ya for thinking of Camryn! 5. Would you get implants if they were free?:Not implants, but would LOVE to have a breast-lift! Nursing 2 babies and going w/out a bra around the house has taken a toll on my "girls"...they stare at the ground all day long! ROFLMBO!
In my last post, I said I'd get some pics of Leah @ her next soccer game...well, I took video instead, and I can't find my script anywhere for how to add a video clip to my webpage, so guess I'll have to take some still shots next weekend. Bless her little soul, her team hasn't won a single game yet...in fact, they got the stuffing beat out of 'em this weekend! I almost cried for Leah, I know it's got to be such a disappointment. True, it's not all about winning, but sheesh, it's not like her team isn't any good, they've got some great players, but just can't catch a break. It would really boost their confidence if they could just win one! At Saturday's game, 3 of our players got hurt, including Leah....the other team was very physical, and played rough IMO. Then the brats they played against yesterday where cocky....one of their dad's was sitting next to me, and he even got onto them a few times, telling them to quit gloating. I lost track after a while, but it was something like 10 or 12 to zero. *sigh*
Got some phone calls to make & dishes to do, so until the next time........
