Well, I'm afraid I still don't really have anything interesting to blog about, but thought I'd take a break from cleaning to catch up on a coupla' memes. Oh, yeah, my kids have a life, even if I don't! ROFLMBO! Leah'sgame was exciting yesterday, even if they got beat like 5-2 *sigh*. I'll take some pics @ next weekend's games & post 'em here! Flowers

"Almost Alive(& Barely Kicking)"
Poking my congested, contagious head out long enough to say...ummm, sorry, that was "HI!" and I hope & pray all of you are healthy, safe, and dry. With all these tropical storms and hurricanes lately
, it's made me extra-glad that I live inland....though I'm sure the rest of the time it's a dream to live on the coast

or Survivorfans out there? I've been enjoying them both(with some degree of guilty pleasure), as well as Trading Spouses(NOTwhat it sounds like!) and Renovate My Family. Hey, what else is a girl supposed to watch when they cancel my favs (Buffy and Angel *boo-hoo*)?!?

Uneventful Anniversary
Well, the good news is this past Friday marked mine & Joe's 10th wedding anniversary.....the bad news is, it was the same as any other day of the year
. Joe had to work that morning, and I worked until 6pm that evening, but I still had hoped at the least we would get out for what is pretty much the only time of the year to do anything without the girls....don't get me wrong, I love them dearly, but it's healthy for a relationship to spend time alone as a couple, especially for your anniversary, right?
It turns out Joe "didn't feel like doing anything", and even asked me "what's for dinner?" when I got home!
So of course I offer to make his most favorite dish (NOT!! lol!), pinto beans, mac 'n' cheese, fried potatoes
.....and all of a sudden, he's like, well, I guess we could go to FireMountain(a steakhouse here in our town). I perked up for about 5 minutes, until I realized he intended to take the girls with us
.Did I mention this place was a buffet type? Yeah, I enjoy their food,
, but it was so friggin' crowded & loud.So there you have it, our lovely evening celebrating 10 wonderful years together....we did watch a DVD together after the girls went to bed, but, and forgive me for whining, I had expected more....for ANY anniversary, but even more so for our 10th
Ok, sucking it up & moving on!
*checks watch*ehhhhh, Joe will be home for lunch soon, I need to tidy up (the house & myself) so I will update this entry later today. tt4n
