Wow, what a crazy ending to an upside-down week! I really haven't noticed the NSAID the doctor gave me helping much, tho it is giving me an unpleasant side effect(bathroom related, will spare you the details!) Today was the first day I went back to work since Monday.
I didn't feel well enough to go, but A) can't really afford to miss anymore work and B) this was scheduled to be my last day at Arby's, so I hated to miss it. Well, it was the same ol' crap there...1 worker didn't show up, another quit, with no notice, we were out of a bunch of product, and then ........
about 4:10 pm, I heard a scream-I passed it off at 1st as some teens playing around. Then I saw my manager, bent over in the kitchen....she had been using the slicer to cut some chicken, and cut her hand pretty badly!!!
I took her to the ER and waited with her for an hour, by which time the triage nurse had looked at it and her husband had arrived, so I came home. Bless her heart, she was shaking like a leaf, almost passed out from hyper-
ventalating,and there she had to sit for an eternity before anyone even checked to see why she was there at the ER!!!! Lord only knows how much longer she & her hubby had to wait to be seen and get stitched up. It was about an inch or a tiny bit more in length,looked pretty deep, and was in the'web' part of her right hand, between her thumb & index finger.
On a proud mommy note *G* while writing this entry, my lil' Camryn told me she needed to pee-pee ON THE BIG POTTY!!!! Wow! She's been sucessfully using her potty for a few weeks now, but this was the first time she showed any interest in using the big one! She's been wearing big girl panties the last few weeks,too, with only 3 accidents thus far....she even wears undies to bed at night & stays dry! Woo-hoo! I've been waiting for this milestone for some time now, as she'll be turning 4 this Sept.(Doing the happy dance!)
My dear friend Melly has been so sweet to me, sending me this darling sigtag & adoptions when she heard of my health problems! I just had to post them, she's such a dear to be thinking of me when she has issues of her own to deal with.....((((hugs)))) to you Melly, and prayers too! You're a special person, and a dear friend! Thanks a million sweetie! =)
K, tummy is turning inside out again(d@mn medicine!!) and I need to get the girls ready for bed before long, so gonna post, check my emails & hit the hay early....again! Stinks being so sleepy all the time! Hope you all have a sunny, fun weekend, and may all your blogs be blessed! LOL!

Just a quick note to explain my absence....since last Wednesday,
I've been having chest pains and tightness in my chest. It was
so bad Friday that I didn't go to work. I did go in this
morning, but only because I knew we were having a BIG
inspection and I was greatly needed to be there. I left
work to go to thedoctor, and after listening to my lungs,
asking some questions, and doing an EKG, he diagnosed me
with Pleurisy. He gave me a month's supply of a
prescription NSAID,but said I should only need to take it
about 2 weeks. I'm also supposed to limit my lifting
and such for the next week. I have just been so
tired, and it hurts worse when I breath in, so
in that regard, I have a hard time breathing comfortably.
I have lots of emailsI will try to reply to later in the week,
and a few adoptions to send out as well. Thanks in advance
to all of you for being understanding. Hope to be feeling better
before I start my new job next week
